Central College Anuradhapura
Central College Anuradhapura has a proud sporting heritage spanning nearly eight decades. Our athletes have represented the school, the district, and the province across a wide range of disciplines — earning titles, breaking records, and bringing honour to the Centralian name.
The school fields competitive teams in cricket, athletics, badminton, football, volleyball, swimming, and indoor sports. Under the guidance of dedicated physical education masters, our students compete at district, provincial, and national levels throughout the year.
The Annual Sports Meet — one of the most anticipated events on the school calendar — celebrates athletic achievement across all age groups, with inter-house rivalry that embodies the competitive spirit Central College is known for.
